Whitehall is now open again. Saturday 20th March 2010 - Crafty Tales: How The Birds Changed Their Feathers - 2.30 - 3.30 pm. What: Enjoy a traditional South American Indian folktale and make a related craft. For children aged 5-7 years, £1.50. Please book in advance at Whitehall.
Saturday 27th March 2010 - Friends of Whitehall Easter Fair - The Parochial Rooms, Cheam - 9.30 am to 4 pm. Stalls galore in the Friends annual Easter fair in the Parochial Rooms, Cheam. Admission is free, refreshments available. Stalls are available to hire at £15 (use contact form)
Tuesday 30th March 2010 - Nonsuch Palace: A Royal Hunting Box - 2 pm. An illustrated talk by John Phillips linked to the current exhibition. Tickets £4.50 (Friends £4) including refreshments.
Saturday 3rd - Sunday 18th April - Easter Holiday Activities for Children. A range of drop in crafts with a Spring/Easter theme included in house admission charge. During normal opening hours.
Tuesdays, 6th April and 4th May - 7 pm to 8pm -Readers' Group - Fiction Set in Past Times. Join our readers' group at Whitehall. Enjoy an informal, friendly look at fiction set in past times. Friday 23rd April 2010 - 'By George Its A Merrie England' - 8.00 pm An evening of words and song by The Whitehall Singers and Readers (in Tudor costume) with English country food to celebrate St George's Day. Tickets £7.50 (£6.50 for Friends) from 020 8337 2503.
Sunday 25th April - England's Helicon - 2 to 5 pm. A musical event at which tenor Gerald Place and lutenist Dorothy Linell will perform a selection of English words and music from the Shakespearian period during the afternoon in the appropriate Tudor setting of Whitehall.
Saturday 15th May - from 9 am - Cheam Charter Fair Day. Whitehall will be open from 9 am. Paperback stall and Friend's stall in the front garden.
Saturday 15th May - A Merrie Noyse. Tudor music and dancing.
Saturday 29th May - 10 am to 1 pm. Paperback Stall First paperback book stall of the summer season with new titles.
Saturday 19th June - 10 am to 4 pm - A Tudor Festival. A Tudor Festival to celebrate Whitehall's 32nd Birthday.
